Suomalaismies sai seuraa Pattayalla – Seuraava aamu valkeni ikävästi

30-vuotiaan suomalaismiehen lomamatka Thaimaan Pattayalla sai viikonvaihteessa ikävän käänteen.

Paikallismedia Pattaya Newsin mukaan niin kutsutulla soolomatkalla ollut mies puhkesi kyyneliin ilmoittaessaan poliisille, että häneltä on varastettu käteistä rahaa sekä lähes 20 000 euron arvoinen Rolex-kello.

Suomalaismiehen mukaan hän oli juonut olutta pattayalaisessa baarissa ja kutsunut kaksi thaimaalaisnaista ”hengailemaan ja rentoutumaan” sekä ”jatkamaan juomista” hotellihuoneeseensa. Pian mies oli kuitenkin tuntenut olonsa erittäin väsyneeksi ja simahtanut.

Herättyään hän huomasi, että käteistä rahaa sekä noin 700 000 bahtin (noin 18 500 euron) arvoinen Rolex-kello olivat kadonneet. Suomalaismiehen kerrotaan olevan varma, että naiset ovat anastaneet hänen omaisuuttaan.

Tapauksen tutkinta on edelleen käynnissä. Miehen hotellihuoneessa vierailleita naisia ei toistaiseksi ole tavoitettu.

Finnish Man in Tears After Pattaya Bar Girls Allegedly Drug Him and Steal Rolex Watch Worth Nearly 1 Million Baht

Pattaya– A 30-year-old Finnish tourist broke down in tears as he reported to police that two Thai bar girls had allegedly drugged him with alcohol, causing him to fall unconscious, before stealing cash and an expensive Rolex watch from his hotel room in the Jomtien area.

The incident was reported at around 2:06 a.m. on March 30th, 2026, when Mr. Kenneth, a 30-year-old Finnish national, walked into Pattaya City Police Station to file a complaint with Police Lieutenant Colonel Chaiyanaret Pengkan, Deputy Investigation Officer.

According to the victim, he had been drinking at a beer bar in Pattaya when he invited two Thai women back to his hotel room to hang out and relax in the Jomtien area and to continue drinking. He soon felt extremely drowsy and passed out. Upon waking, he discovered that 5,000 baht in cash and his luxury Rolex watch, valued at approximately 700,000 baht, were missing. He is certain the two women he brought back were responsible.

Visibly emotional and with tears in his eyes, Mr. Kenneth told police that he had been alone on a solo trip to Pattaya when the incident occurred.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Chaiyanaret Pengkan recorded the complaint as an official entry in the daily log. Investigators have been tasked with reviewing CCTV footage from the hotel and surrounding areas to identify and track down the suspects for further legal action.

The case remains under investigation as authorities work to locate the two women involved.

Finnish tourist loses Rolex watch and cash to Pattaya bar workers

A Finnish tourist reported the theft of a Rolex watch worth more than 700,000 baht and 5,000 baht in cash after bringing two Thai bar workers back to his hotel in the Jomtien area of Pattaya in the early hours of today, March 30.

The victim, 30 year old Kenneth Mikael Konttinen, filed a complaint at Mueng Pattaya Police Station at about 2am. He told officers he had visited a bar alone, where he met two Thai women who worked there. Their identities and physical descriptions were not released to the public.

Konttinen said he drank with the women at the bar before inviting them to his hotel room, where they continued drinking until he fell asleep. When he woke up, he found his luxury watch and cash were missing. He told police he believed the two women took the items and decided to report the case.

Police said they will review CCTV footage from the bar to the Finnish man’s hotel to identify the suspects and summon them for questioning.

Similar cases have been reported in Pattaya in recent weeks. On March 11, an Indian tourist nearly lost a gold necklace worth about 100,000 baht to a group of four Thai nationals, including two women, one transwoman and a motorcycle taxi rider. Witnesses helped the man recover the necklace and detained the suspects.

Two days earlier, a Russian man filed a complaint against two Thai transwomen, accusing them of stealing a motorcycle and a mobile phone. He said he drank with them outside a convenience store, fell asleep and later discovered the items were missing.

In February, a South Korean man reported losing more than 20,000 baht after meeting a group of transwomen on Pattaya Walking Street and inviting them home. One suspect was reported to have caused chaos and threatened the victim with a knife and a stun device before fleeing.
