Minäkin näin kuvan, joka esitti merimiespukuista nuorta miestä räpylät jaloissaan.

Tästä syystä arvelin Matkaajan näkemää henkilöäsiksi paikalla mahdollisesti olleeksi toiseksi mieheksi. Näin ei kuitenkaan sitten ollut. Näyt vain ovat erinäköisisiä.
Muistelin siis nähneeni mustavalkean kuvan samannäköisestä, mutta nuoremmasta ja skarpimmasta miehestä joskus. Mitään tekstejä en muista enää, jos niitä olikaan. Muistikuvani ja Matkaajan näkykuva todennäköisesti ovat vain sattumalta toisensa näköiset, jos todellisuudessa ovat olleetkaan.

Jos minä tiedossa olevien tietojen pohjalta kirjottaisin tästä dekkarin, sijottaisin tekijäksi erään henkilön, jonka nimeä en tässä mainitse. Lieneeköhän sama kuin matkaajalla. Sehän on tiedossa, että se ei ole minun mielestäni NG. Minun tietääkseni kukaan selvänäkijä ei ole pitänyt tekijänä Gustafssonia. En pidä minäkään.
