I dont understand and write well in Finnish so I will write in English.
I started to investigate and question myself 4 days ago about Nela's case. This ddisappearance is very confusing because she lied a headache/sickness to her work team, she also "lied" -by not saying anything- to the husband whom she just married by not saying that she took the day off to go to Nuuksio, she texted to the couple who was invited at their place "you can go there anytime my husband is there" when it was agreed they would meet at 7 pm and finally there are no traces found of her.
All that makes it sound harder to guess and these all are possible outcomes (although suicide seems not anymore): 1) suicide, 2) escape, 3) murder 4) forest accident (seems unlikely to with all the research). So what is really important to ask ourseleves is: Did she planned to go to the park on that day in advance? And how much in advance? What was her goal of going to the forest, why the forest? Why in Nuuksio? Did she lie because she had a secret? What kind of secret could it be? Is it an activity, an object or someone? Could these be related to something in her past? Or has she been into that lately or has she been convinced by someone lately? Was there a reason why she chose that day? Has she been out of work for "sickness" in the past to go to Nuuksio by herself? How often? What is her connection to nature, what things she likes to do in the nature? Could she have an addiction with this environment? Has the husband heard if she likes orientation or geocaching?
One thing I felt in the beginning when I was learning about this disappearance was that she had planned that day before 09.09 and that she had some level of addiction to something related to the forest. Why I thought that is because 1) she "lied" to husband, friends (the ones who were invited) and workplace 2) she had planned -well- in advance probably 3) she would do all that when her work team will be working and when the husband wakes up and start working 4) she seems ready to meet friends on the same day on which she has kept a secret, was she ready to lie to them if she had met them?. => She is aware that she is doing something that others don't know while she knows what they do and when she is supposed to be part of them team workers and maybe texting the husband.
Now comes the interesting part that I learnt yesterday about this "geocatching" theory and I find it very plausable and a very serious track to explore. => Caches should be explored, geocachers on the day of 09.09 are potential targets for investigations. Nuuksio is only 39 square km and many of the caches can require that you do 5 to 20 km, the chance that these people cross each others in the park is likely! If Nela left from the bus going by the left what caches or direction would she be going to? Was she going to meet someone or not? I think/hope the police investigates all that or at least should investigate it very seriously.
I didnt know anything about "geocatching"
https://www.geocaching.com/play so I searched some things about it:
1) It is an international discipline, anyone can do it anywhere in the world at anytime but a bit of preparation for finding a cache and having the equipment is needed. Everything is dealt through the forums and geocaching websites where you register. There are many different websites with information on caches.
2) Prague is the number 1 place in the world where geocaches have been found, and Czech people love it => Finland and Czech Republic are in the top 5 Geocaches countries in Europe and Finland has some of the most -by number, not even in proportion- experienced geocachers in the world
3) A type of geocaching consists of finding/meeting people and there are geocaches events where people meet together to find caches
4) Nuuksio has hundreds of geocaches and almost every day people are in Nuuksio searching for caches => I found some caches are in Caves in Nuuksio and that there are logos/signs for indicating if the cache is better to be searched for example "in night time" or if it needs "stealth" (secrecy, clandestiness, covertness), if it accessible by car, bike,... If you need to swim to find it... and many other indications.
5) Sometimes there is a message indicating how can someone access the place and where the person can leave his car while doing/playing the geocache. Some caches in Nuuksio tell the person where he can leave his car.
6) A clothespin (what Nela bought) can be used as an element to build a cache or it can also be used as a tool to put in place of the object found in order to be able to put the clothespin in exactly the same place.
7) Ropes, cords or fishing reels/lines can also be used to build a cache or used as an object to leave your trace as a proof of having found the cache (I think so..). In a book on geocaching it says: One of dregno's favortie finds was in a huge puvlic park: "there is a tree in this park that has an electrical conduit running up the trunk and at the top of the wire is a light fixture. Looks innocent enough, right? But when you open the junction box, you find a fishing reel. If you wind/pull the fishing line, the light comes down the tree. And unscrewing the bulb then reveals the cache".

Some people are very addicted and it is raising in popularity.
9) Some people have found weird things/murder related things in caches and there are serial killer novels inspired by geocatching.
Why I believe Nela went for geocaching:
- Everything seemed to be planned: early wake up and early time for leaving the home (was it by the way earlier time than usual for going to office?), proper clothing, lies to the office and no message to the husband
- Going to Citymarket in an other direction maybe to ensure finding the right tools such as the
clothespin and fishing reels
- 3 wieneri and chocolate for enough energy as it is a sport activity, no time for cooking (was she going to share that though? It was not a plan of staying in Nuuksio area for 2 hours, but probably for a long day... Did she love wieneri to that point she could buy 3 or was there a promotion? Or would she meet someone (maybe from her home country) and thought some finnish chocolate and wieneri would be great to share because everybody likes it or they are symbolic of finnish pastries/sweets? Fazer blue?)
- She seemed she needed to be ready for a mission, she changed herself in the bus and had all the equipment to run => Did she have any liquids/water with her by the way? Can the husband know if she would use to take filled water bottles or juices with her? No liquids bought in supermarket?
- Did she charge her phone during the night? If she did, could the gps of her phone have consumed the whole battery because it is very unlikely that in the state of preparation she did she would have been surfing on the internet in the park? If she was with a person the whole day and that person had a plan to kill it is an easy opportunity when the person comes by car, does the geocatching with her the whole day (acts like a friend) and her batteries run off... => easy set up to bring Nela to the person's car. She could have been without batteries too and met someone who was doing geocatching for the same cache and asked to search together...
- She had to go on that day, not during the week end, why? Secrecy or addiction?
I think it is now very hard to say what happened to her or what she did, but for me I would think without knowing her background life nor the couple's relationship that an abduction is the most likely to have happened and the suicide the least possible.
Who is the Czech guy that goes by the geocacher name of petr.zaplati who came to FInland for geocaching? ( I dont want to target anyone but just put some questions here! We never know...):
The person claims to have been in Finland for business reasons for a minimum of six days between 09.09 to 14.09 and of which he did 4 geocaching days in Nuuksio while on a business trip. If we relate to his reports on the geocaching website this person didnt search any geocaching place over the week end of 12.09 and 13.09. Why? He visited Nuuksio on the same day when Nela disappeard and found 2 caches with probably 20 km of coverage (he did a first one beginning of the day maybe morning in Helsinki, it was a quick cache). The caches he has visited were created by a person with avatar name "BodhiHeera" from geocaching.com who is a very experienced geocacher (probably some of the top geocacher in Finland) and is very active in the Nuuksio Park... This guy seems to know the park like his pocket => Police should definitely ask him to search there and to show the caches that he created to the police to see if Nela or the Czech guy would have left any traces in some caches... Also does he know this Czech guy?
My questions and comments related to the Czech person called Petr.Zaplati on geocacher.com are:
- He wrote "I found this cache during a business trip. Thanks for the cache." as a comment to almost all the caches he found in Nuuksio. It seems he has not written that to any other countries he has been where he searched for cache. Why? Does he only have business in FInland?
- 6 days business trip from wednesday to monday with 4 days of geocaching... It would be interesting to know how much time he would have taken to do these...
- The finnish person who created the caches that the Czech person found in Nuuksio has a description in english that tells where to leave the car for starting the search to the cache. Has the Czech guy come to Finland by car then? If he was on a business trip, did he rent a car or did he come with own car? It is very unlikely that he came by bus to Nuuksio for the geocache, especially if he is a businessman... Czech immatriculation plate is very similar to finnish one, same colors and can be 3 letters with 4 digits
- It was the first day of geocaching of the Czech guy so if Nela bought 2 rolls of fishing reels, could she have shared the other roll with him as he would need it for the coming days?
- If that guy says he found this cache while on a business trip, did he walk in the forest with his suit and tie? Or he had geocaching equipment packed with him and he actually didnt find it while on the business trip, but while he was in Czech Republic (more likely to me...)?
- That Czech guy has been doing that for 9 years with about 800 caches found so it would be strange that he is not planning at all, especially if he knows he is going abroad to a country famous for geocaching and even more when he goes for business close to Nuuksio which is famous for it.
- Has he left any traces of him in the caches he has been too?
- Nela married in Czech Republic 1 month before she disappeared and seems to have stayed there for a while? Did an old friend told her he would come to geocaching to Finland and she should meet him there on that day? This is possible when it happens so shortly after she comes back from Czech?
Many Geocachers have found the caches after Nela's disappearance but no one seem to have found any traces either? Do people know about it? Do people always have to leave a trace of their passage?
For me it seems very difficult to abduct a fit/sporty person in daylight in a middle of a park that is relatively big and disappear with the person by leaving no traces... The hypothesis of convincing the Nela to come to the person's car seem very plausible. Or an option could be that someone who knows the park by heart knows of very secret places where to hide a body and maybe mask it with some chemical or something that can divert cadaver dogs attention...
Do dogs have the potential to find people in the Ammasuo trash place, have they been there and is there surveillance 24/7?
